Leadership Perspective

We recently said goodbye to one of the best interns we’ve had the pleasure of working with.

Joshua Goodloe spent 10 weeks with the LANDCO NEXA team, and in his time with us, something really cool happened.

Yes, he got exposed to different corners of our business. Yes, he helped us test some exciting new AI strategies.

But we got just as much out of this experience as Joshua did. He showed up with energy and a willingness to dive into whatever we put in front of him. His enthusiasm was contagious, reminding our team why we do what we do and pushing us to think in new ways.

That’s what a great intern program looks like. It should be a genuinely synergistic exchange, where a company committed to being a learning organization invites the next generation in and says, “Teach us something too.”

If your company doesn’t have a structured intern program, I’d encourage you to reconsider. The next generation is a massive resource right now. Treat them like it.

Congratulations, Joshua. We’re rooting for you.
