If your organization is struggling with team alignment, I recommend Topgolf.
I’ve noticed that the strongest alignment comes from people spending time together outside of work, especially in a business as team-oriented as ours.
That’s why we held our “Friends of NEXA” celebration in January, and why we chose Topgolf as our venue.
We wanted movement, conversation, competition, and laughter in the same space – where employees, contractors, and partners could all have fun together.
The day before, we ran State of the Company sessions. Each group walked through where we were in 2025 and where we’re headed in 2026.
The next day, we picked up our golf clubs and spent time enjoying each other’s company outside of the conference room.
With each game, we had a chance to see each other differently – gauging strengths, trying new things, and rising to small challenges together.
That’s a great example of how we operate at LANDCO NEXA. We’re a learning organization. Our environment isn’t threatening or embarrassing, even when someone makes a mistake. We analyze why decisions were made and what we learned from them.
That kind of trust is best built from shared experiences. Our business breaks down fast if people can’t work through challenges as a team. So, we invest in moments like this to make sure they can.
Topgolf was the perfect place to practice alignment, quality time, and looking forward together.
