At LANDCO NEXA, you’re not paid to panic.
You’re paid to think.
That’s something I say often to my team because it reflects the kind of culture we’re building here. We’re a learning company, and we’re not afraid of mistakes. What matters more is how you show up in the face of them.
I always tell my team: never bring me a problem without a solution. It doesn’t need to be the right solution. But it should reflect that you’ve thought through the issue and taken some kind of initiative.
If the house is on fire, I don’t want you running into my office yelling, “The house is on fire!”
I want you to say, “The house is on fire, I’ve called the fire department, everyone’s safe, the insurance company has been notified. What else would you like me to do?”
That mindset is part of our company’s problem-solving DNA. Your job is to help clients identify opportunities they might not even see yet, so we expect our internal team to bring that same energy.
We don’t expect perfection, but we do expect ownership.
